The Details...
It was an unforgettable weekend and we are so blessed that our families and friends followed us to Utah from all over the country. We were surrounded with so much love as we celebrated our most perfect day!
Our parents, families, and friends (that really are like family) gave so much time and effort to make the entire weekend a success. We could not be more grateful. Everyone helped with the pre-wedding festivities by offering their special talents in the kitchen and on the grill for the weekend dinners and brunch. There was coordination, set-up, grocery gathering, and so much more. The best part was both sides of the family came together, enjoyed each other, and celebrated like they have known each other for years when they had all just met the Friday before! The house was full of chaos, excitement, love, and joy!
We had a beautiful ceremony led by Justin, a wonderful man of God who felt like family, even before the day began. After the formal ceremony, we exchanged our written vows in a private moment among the pines in a little spot on a lake that we discovered just the day before. Planning a long distance weekend wedding meant that we had just a few plans and a lot of hopes for our big day but made sure to allow for spontaneity to lead! Our chef was the incredible Dalton Campbell who prepared an array of different tapas throughout the evening as we were serenaded by the talented Patrick Meek who performed the best renditions of Mountain Song and Bloom, succeeding in making our photographer cry, happy tears of course. As the night went on, a special surprise, a gift of peony and rose bouquets designed by Sarah Asay, for the single ladies, as our minister Justin led a prayer of blessing and love. We toasted our families and the appreciation we had for everyone to follow us out west to celebrate our love. We laughed, we cried, we prayed and are so blessed for every moment shared together. We hope you enjoy all of the amazing and unforgettable moments that were captured by the truly amazing Kandice Breinholt. We plan to post more of our adventures...so check back soon!
